Composition 6: Sussex Seaside (2013 © Nicholas de Lacy-Brown)
It’s like seeing the water’s surface and under-the-water at the same time. Delicious. I love how messy the posts are and how they bring back just enough unified perspective to pull it together – like pegs. Well, really I like everything about it. The sky and birds and sand and pebbles and red sails – all the inspired colors. Yes, it’s all very pleasing. I’m very enthusiastic about beach scenes, I collect them whenever I can afford to.
Thanks! Those posts were hard as I was trying to paint the effect of one overlapping the other and being somehow transparent. I was pleased with the result though. Very happy you like 🙂
