Oh, bravo! Good job matching the sky’s blue.
The sails are enchanting in a laid back masculine way.
Never thought of them as masculine – but then I suppose it stands to reason!
Hm, now I wonder why I said that… it’s true that on the sea, sails are feminine as they are the receptive partner in the wind-to-boat relationship! In this context, though, they are sheltering and stand over the terrace, and the nautical element is purely referential. Yes, I think they are masculine in this setting. 🙂
Are they feminine in Spanish?
